Based on its award winning sister farm Riverford in Devon, River Swale is run from Newby Whiske nr Northallerton and together with a group of growers we grow enough variety to fill over 1500 boxes a week, with seasonal organic produce. We are acredited by the Soil Association and have never used air frieght. We provide seven different types of vegbox to suit all households and also supply local produce such as milk and eggs. We offer free delivery, and you are not tied to a regular order. We pride ourselves on our excellent friendly customer service.
I've been using River Swale organics for a couple of months now. Produce is excellent and they offer email alerts and recipe ideas each week - helpful for those winter veg especially. They also offer a range of other goods to deliver at the same time.
With the box scheme, your order can be changed via email or phone to the local contact - a very useful more personal service.
