I have now cancelled all future orders with the Somerset scheme as I have not been happy with the customer service received.
I'd been with Riverford for well over a year and in that time I had always paid. More then once I was not able to get to the door in time, before the driver had left for me to pay. Now, I'd only ever missed payments as a result of that, but the emails I received from the manager was incredibly rude despite this fact.
His attitude towards me as a customer is that it is too much trouble for him because I pay by cash and constantly tried to push plastic payments on me which incur a charge.
I know from his own drivers that I am not the only customer he has been rude to and they themselves complain about the way the Somerset scheme is managed.
If you're in Somerset I do NOT recommend Riverford, but any other location, might be managed by someone who can in fact manage and has good customer service, otherwise I would advise you look for another box scheme.
