Rowberry's Nursery was started in 1978, first selling flowers from home; then in 1989 the current site was purchased (then just an open field) since when the business has grown rapidly.
We put this down to our policy of selling plants to the public at nearly wholesale prices.

We are a "Growing Nursery" - that is, we produce most of our plants ourselves.
This enables us to offer most of our plants at very reasonable prices. We are able to maintain permanent 'promotional' prices - such as "4 shrubs for £10" - and this price is for well-grown '2 litre' plants, not 'starter' shrubs !

We also grow PYO soft fruits - Strawberries, Blackberries, Redcurrents, Blackcurrents, Gooseberries, etc, as well as growing potatoes and vegetables for sale in our Farm Shop.

We now have a florist working for us and anticipate the development of this side of the business.

Our workforce numbers some 15 staff - most of whom are employed in horticulture ( operations such as pricking-out and potting-up ).
