Southbourne Farm Shop was opened by Chris Bulbeck in 1982, and since then has remained a friendly, family-run business selling locally-grown fruit and vegetables, and quality produce. These include fresh bread from nearby Westbourne bakery, organic milk from the Goodwood Estate, an extensive range of cooked and uncooked meats, and much more. We are open seven days a week.
This farm shop doesn't actually need my review as it is so popular. There is a big carpark which is PACKED on Saturdays and at Christmas there are rugby scrums to get the veggies!
The farm shop sells all sorts of frozen veg and fruit by the scoop like mixed berries and it sells things like homemade apple pies and cakes as well as loads of regular groceries. I don't think it sells meat, just groceries and veg. This is a truly local farm shop, it's not been yuppy-fied and is really a lovely place to shop. The home made cheese straws are unbelievable.
