A great find in Dover. The menu is extensive and locally sourced, including vegetables grown on their own allotment. Meat and fish included 'Stodmarsh' steak from near Canterbury, and turbot from Folkstone. We dined with children, who were also happy, and full. Not overcrowded, the Allotment has a friendly atmosphere and is excellently hosted by the owner, who explains where produce has been sourced. Between courses, we were treated to a salad of local produce which was tasty and unusual. Wines were excellent with a good choice and the kids loved the 'blood orange; cordial. We will definitely be returning!
Grumpy's Fish and Chips - Rock, Wadebridge
I'm going there this summer for a weekend, will pop in! went to Padstow last year and gave up with the 2 hour waiting in line for some battered £10 fish from Sir Steine's!.
