We are a small country pub set in the delightful Buckinghamshire countryside.
We are driven by a few simple motives...
Firstly to keep the welcoming country pub atmosphere with a typical "English Bar Menu" The restaurant side of things offers a menu that has been kicked up a gear. We offer a set lunch menu (2 course 9.95 or 3 course 12.95), which is a smaller version of our evening a la carte menu. (Priced from 4.95 - 16.95)
Secondly, Absolutely everything is made on site! From the cheese crackers and home cured hams/bacon to butchering most of our meat from whole carcasses ensuring every last part of the animal is used.
The only exception is Coleman’s mustard and Heinz ketchup, the kind of thing you will never talk people around on!
We aim to have good honest food produced (and grown) with care and attention, using free range products sourced from farms as locally as possible (next door in some cases).

Although Scott hasn't been attending some of the Farmer's Markets I go to, I always found his fruit and veg to be first rate.
