Having opened its door’s in March 2006 in the Original 1852 Jesse Boots Chemist on Goosegate in Hockley, at the Larder on Goosegate they aim to offer contemporary British food using the best seasonal, local produce available. Its historic setting coupled with its real dedication to local produce gives a real showcase of the best of Nottinghamshire.

Been here twice now and will definately be back. The quality of the ingredients and the abilities of the chefs to get the best from those ingredients shone through. It was really refreshing to go a restaurant that has a conscience about what is on the menu. The service was good, and staff were attentive and very pleasant.
