We do our weekly shop here and find it such a relaxing experience. Just the opposite of shopping in Asda! The fresh food is really fresh and the shelves are stocked with nearly everything we need making it almost a "one-stop-shop". The cafe is great with a huge selection of teas and I especially recommend the gluten-free orange and polenta cake. The staff are friendly and helpful. The recent addition of a new space for home furnishings is super. I haven't found anywhere as good as the Organic Farm Shop anywhere so I'm thrilled we only live 12 miles away!
This is an excellent place. They have regular events where kids can go and watch the cows being milked and take a close look at all the animals who are very very well looked after. As a meat eater, i have to say their meat is excellent, especially their bacon which tastes how bacon ought, but i think we may have forgotten being used to supermarket stuff. There is a lovely woodland walk, just the right length for small toddlers which also houses a compost toilet . Then when you've had your little walk you can toddle back to the farm shop and have a hot drink and snack in their excellent cafe which in winter has a woodburner roaring away. I love this place and the selection of food & products they sell is superb.
A fantastic alternative to a supermarket, The Organic Farm Shop sells an impressive range of organic food and drink, cleaning products, baby products, toiletries, etc. The top quality meat, vegetables and milk from their own farm are a real highlight, and they also have an award-winning licensed cafe. The shop is staffed by friendly people who care, and they also offer interesting classes and events. All in all, a wonderful place to shop!
