We stumbled on this by accident, when looking for something else, and happened to arrive on a day when a rep from the real meat co was there. He asserted their commitment to ethical meat farming, and quality meat. He told me something that I had already suspected - that animals slaughtered when they are terrified do not make good meat because their muscles are tensed by the chemicals of fear, coursing through them.
There is a good choice of meat, and the butcher knows his stuff, so you can get whatever cut you need. Another bonus - they open at 7.30am, so I can pop in before work. (Not open on Mondays though).
We've been enjoying meat that tastes like it did when we were kids.
Another bonus - there is a good fishmonger next door, though he's not inclined to get up early
