Sanctuary has held its place in Hove's café society for over 14 years. Sanctuary is an exclusive community based establishment catering for vegetarians and vegans.
We are mindful of the planet and do our best to source all ingredients locally to avoid supply chain carbon footprints. We also support fair trade products. We try to cater for dietary needs and many items on the menu are offered with a gluten or wheat free options. Our salads and soups are second to none, breakfasts and Sunday roasts are legendary and our daily specials are a great way to sample Sanctuary's take on world food.
Ask any of our regular customers about the giant portions we serve here! No-one goes away hungry. The highest quality coffee on offer, along with a
range of cakes (including vegan and gluten free) and brownies. An extensive range of organic and natural soft drinks as well as beer and wine are available. Sanctuary was recently awarded 4 stars for it's latest food hygiene inspection.
If it is late morning and Sunday and your only just getting up then don't reach for the cornflakes, get yourself down to The Sanctuary Cafe on Brunswick Street East, Hove and have one of their delicious vegetarian Sunday roasts instead. The Sanctuary serves vegetarian and vegan food made with locally sourced and mainly organic ingredients. Oh, and if you happen to have forgotten that you are still wearing your pyjamas, don't worry, in Brighton anything goes :)

I agree with Joybells regarding the widespread geography of the pork pies - ours travel to Southport whenever we visit Hadfield - the lamb is locally sourced from Kinder and is exceptional!!.
