In Spring 2007 we started growing our vegetables, raising our own plants from seed we soon discovered that a packet of tomato seeds produced many more plants than we required, rather than compost them we thought why not sell them at a price a lot less than garden centres so others can enjoy the delights, and maybe gain new recruits to the G.Y.O brigade.

The cost of pots seemed to add an unacceptable cost to the plants, but help came with an idea of using used drinking water cups from dispensing machines, giving the cups a second life and could be recycled when finished with. Keeping costs down and helping the environment, so everyone is a winner. We still use the cups whenever possible, but when they are not available we use bio degradable poly-pots.

Now our range includes tomatoes, chillies, peppers, couchettes squashes. Herbs, hanging baskets bedding plants and the range is constantly expanding. We are also affiliated to Dobies for seeds and equipment. Check our gardening page for more information.



August Bank Holiday 2010 began the start of a range of our own brand home made preserves which will be available at farmers markets and online. We offer a made to order service which results in you receiving the freshest product with the longest shelf life
