My sister and I had the best desserts here last summer - a lovely Eton Mess and Lime and Lemon cheesecake. The produce in the store is of the best quality and all local. Love it!

Found this place on a weekend away. - bought bacon and eggs (sourced from the farm), local chocolate fudge cake, ham, onion marmalade, fruit & veg and blue vinnie cheese. All were excellent. Must go back to try the cafe.....

Great coffee and a climbing frame to keep the kids happy as well as animals, and you get a small piece of home made shortbread with the coffee yum!

No trip to Bridport is complete without a visit to Washingpool. The range of produce (veg, meat, bread, wines etc) is fantastic and mostly very local. The view from the restaurant isn't bad either. Friendly, helpful staff with plenty of advice. I can't recommend it enough. There is often either piglets or free range hens by the carpark for the kids to connect where the food comes from as well as a nature walk. Well deserving of their many awards.

I use this place a lot, it's really good on the whole, they have a great selection of goods, you can pretty much do a complete shop there - lots of local produce. They also have a restaurant / cafe there which is pretty good too!

well worth a visit.
