Gem of a place hidden away off the A6. All local meat - venison, beef, pork, chicken - every piece has the source identified, I believe mostly organic, definitely all local. A whole range of sausage recipes, stuffed chicken parcels make the quickest meal ever & the best venison burger & sausage I ever bought. Also local veg - limited range but excellent quality & taste & a range of groceries too - good range of gluten free stuff, also dairy & some 'posh' stuff. Not cheap (though there are bargains - how about a turkey drumstick - over 1kg meat on it, did a casserole of 12 servings for £1.49!), but worth the trip & the price tag. Go visit once, you'll go back, I promise!!
